Hi, I'm Nick Jenkins. I have been practising cognitive hypnotherapy for many years, first in London and now in beautiful Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire.
I've been helping people to find solutions for most of my life - even when I was a teenager, friends all used to come to me for advice.
Since then, I've combined a successful career in journalism - at one time I wrote a problem page for a well-known daily newspaper - with a growing interest in therapy and helping others.
I was trained in cognitive hypnotherapy by Trevor Silvester, one of the giants of modern hypnotherapy, at his Quest Institute. To find out more about Quest cognitive hypnotherapy, click on the What happens? tab above.
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the regulator for complementary therapists, so I am bound by the code of ethics of both organisations. I am also a member of the Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy Practitioners Association (QCHPA).
Oh, and if you are looking for letters after my name, I am Nick Jenkins BA MFHT HPD DipCHyp NLP Pract - which really just means that you can be sure I am properly trained and qualified.
